Vellum Studio is a Hong Kong restaurant marketing agency focused on fine-dining branding, web design, and digital strategy. They needed a site that felt as premium as the venues they pitch—not a generic agency template with stock food photos and crowded layouts.

I owned the web experience from structure through visual design: information hierarchy, component patterns, typography and color, and how services, proof, and contact repeat across the page. The goal was simple for visitors scanning on mobile: understand specialization, trust the agency, and reach out without breaking the luxury tone.

CONTEXT & GOALS

The audience mixes local operators and international hospitality teams. The site had to signal fine-dining specialization immediately, support English and Chinese, and keep Contact visible after credentials—not only in the hero.

Success meant a credible first impression for high-ticket inquiries: clear service pillars, social proof that reads real (chef and operator voices, Hong Kong districts), and FAQ copy that answers scope and timeline before the first call.

DESIGN FOCUS

Luxury without noise

Editorial type, restrained palette, and generous whitespace so the brand reads high-end—aligned with agencies serving Central, Wan Chai, TST, and similar districts.

Conversion that fits the brand

Primary CTAs stay consistent from hero through services, testimonials, FAQ, and footer so prospects can inquire after scanning proof—not after hunting for a button.

Bilingual, same layout

ENG/ZH toggle in the nav serves Hong Kong's mixed audience without duplicating pages or cluttering the header.
